Convenient location just a short walk from the bus stop 🚌. We booked a triple room for one night and it had everything we needed. There was a nice work desk where we could get stuff done, and they even provided tea/coffee making facilities and a TV.

They even personally made phone calls on our behalf to resolve the issue. They also provided valuable information on tracing my grandmother's roots in Longford, Ireland, which led to even more documentation. The recommendations for dinner and visiting Sean's Pub made for a memorable evening. The nearby "Old Rail Trail" was a lovely and safe biking route through picturesque farmland. Lastly, the room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed, including a fantastic shower.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Alverna House, a beautiful B&B just outside the city. The exterior and interior were stunning, with a comfortable lounge and even a room with a pool. The dining room was clean and well-furnished. The owner, Ronan, was welcoming and suggested great places to eat in the city. Our room was huge, clean, and cozy, with a comfortable bathroom. The continental breakfast was delicious, and Ronan and his wife were lovely to chat with. a wonderful stay.
Totally recommend this hotel.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming B&B just outside of a bustling city. The exterior of the accommodation was absolutely beautiful and the interior was even better. The lounge was incredibly comfortable and there was even a room with a pool! The dining room was pristine and the furniture was impeccable. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the owner who showed me to my spacious and cozy room on the first floor. The bathroom was impeccably clean and had all the necessary features. In the morning, I enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. Before departing, I had a lovely conversation with the owner and his wife about their trips to Italy. They were not only welcoming but also exceptionally kind. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this delightful B&B.

I had the most incredible stay at a charming B&B in Ireland. The owners really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome after a not-so-great experience elsewhere. They even did my laundry for me since there was no nearby launderette. I was truly touched by their thoughtfulness. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The attention to detail and the cleanliness of the premises were outstanding. The hosts were attentive without being intrusive, and I couldn't have asked for better hospitality. I would highly recommend this B&B and would definitely stay there again in the future.

I recently stayed at Alverna House B&B for a party in town. The family running the B&B were incredibly nice, offering to drop us into town so we could park our car at the property and get a taxi home. We stayed in a spacious and comfortable family room, and the dining room was lovely. The owners were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One of them even dropped me back to a wedding I was attending after checking in! a great place with a great location and excellent service.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Alverna Lodge for a weekend getaway. The B&B exudes luxury with its spaciousness and top-quality furnishings. The two guest lounges, complete with beautiful leather settees, were perfect for relaxing. I especially enjoyed the lounge with the pool table and large-screen TV. The bedroom itself was a haven of comfort, from the high-quality drapes to the incredibly comfortable bed. The breakfast was plentiful and perfectly cooked, with the best bacon I've had in all my B&B experiences. Ronan and Niamh, the charming hosts, have created a truly remarkable gem of a place.
Totally recommend this hotel.
